What do you need to do to get work on this project? I joined yesterday but there was no work available? I have Windows PC's raring to go (I tried adding it to an Ubuntu but it doesn't let me) I have all priorities set to allow this project a good run on multiple computers? Clearly I am missing something? Any ideas? |

I should add that it just says "... got 0 new tasks - No tasks sent" |

No Windows application at the moment so you need Linux. I don't know why you can't add to Ubuntu. The work had run out but I now noticed that there are 40,000 work units available so you should be able to get some with Linux. Conan |

No Windows application at the moment so you need Linux. Thanks for the feedback Conan. I'd forgotten that I'd given Zorin a try on that laptop which might explain it. Does anyone know if Gaia doesn't like Zorin? The other projects don't seem to mind so I assumed it was compatible. |

I think a T2080 CPU has a 32bit instruction set. This project only runs on 64 bit at the moment. |

Is it not possible to run a Linux distro on a windows machine any more? I'm sure I have had a Linux virtual machine running on a windows box in the past. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Precisely. I will be doing the same. Just seemed people thought the lack of a Windows app was a roadblock. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |
