Why change the name of the app each time? Most (all?) other projects use the App Versions to do this.

maybe every time this is a new application
if you look at the description and input files
too large changes for versions of one application

as a counterexample - CSGrid and Einstein
a new app for each method or dataset

but I agree - the number and date in the titles are confusing
there is a special field - <user_friendly_name> ;o)

As I can see, all tasks from application 2_Gaia@home[20201012.22] are ending into an error , are completed, waiting for validation or are cancelled by the server ??

Task time calculation is too long (90% computers terminate it).

I will start new apps and shorter tasks today.

In principal x_Gaia @ home is dedicated for x method, but sometimes we make large changes of code for boinc specyfic solution.
We use high precision for integration calculation so it is not easy found way for correct numbers .... (code, compilator, optimalisation options, size of input file etc.) We search compromise between transfer data, size and time of calculation.

If I will use stable <user_friendly_name> for x method, will be good for your statistics etc.

Same here, all the tasks I had erred out this morning after about 5 hrs run time ...

There must be a very few valids between all those errors, cause the server reports 4 GigaFLOPS average computing for this newest application.

Strange, all my results have gone
Today morning I've seen 3 results in my queue, now they are away
one was finished with exeeded runtime

Same again my active and running result has been deleted on server side

On a linux host all "2" apps are crunching well.
