Wrong server address in Boincstats BAM!

I'm using Boincstats BAM! and there is thread at their forum pointing this issue in October 2020 with explanation that you should reserve domain name and point your server address to that domain and that will resolve problem globally. Any changes in address now and in future will result in disconnection from project. Can you reserve free domain and point it to your server address??
