Just had a load of 4 gaia tasks that only ran for a few seconds before terminating, validated OK.
Had to enable accept other tasks if no work as would be dry otherwise with 4s being rare.

Agreed the old way is better than no tasks

Gaia 4 have empty inputs for new jobs, so it is finished developed jobs.
I upgrade Gaia6 generator and app (job generator have problem with contact with JPL Horision - fixed, app was problem calculate physical parameters with specyfic situations - now is testing).
I plan to waiting for last active jobs, cleaning database and disc space, upload new app and start generator for Gaia 6.

It keeps downloading, errors out and downloads more

You are getting this error

You are missing the libquadmath.so.0 library, install that and all should work.

Actually I wasn't getting any error massage, other then the log stating.

I think that's more a result than error.

However i did install [sudo apt install libquadmath0] library? per the other thread and seems to be working now.

Could not get WSL2 to work so I'm running Ubuntu through Virtual Box on Win 11, to work on this project.
So far so good

yes you were getting the stated error. the BOINC event log doesn't give specific reasons for task failures. you should not look there to see why a task failed. the error you received is a generic response the BOINC gives for any failed task for any reason. it says "it failed" but not "why" it failed.

the specific error only can be seen in your stderr output, which can be seen from the task details on the website.
