Yeah..it is insanely annoying to have the client constantly backing off from uploading. The second it does upload something, I can pull new work. Yes I know that is because of the server side limits that are in place and yes I know how to side step it in a way. However, it would be nice to just have this issue rectified as it has gone on long enough. An admin could at least chime in to acknowledge the issue.

Server is out of disk space again for the nth time.....

Each task is at least 6MB in file size during uploading. If I finish 1000 tasks a day, that's 6GB of data been uploaded. Since the run time for each task is relatively short, let's assume say 5 mins. On a 16C/32T system running 100%, that will mean in a day, about 9,216 tasks are completed. This is equivalent to about 55GB of data been transferred. Assuming that 55GB of data stays in the hard drive for sometime, (maybe less after db assimilation, don't know), you really need a lot of disk space.

Looking at the server status just before the disk space issue started, I'm seeing about 700 tasks in progress, meaning about 700 threads running at any one time. This is roughly equivalent to about 1.2 TB of data been uploaded per day.

I think this project needs a lot of more server disk space or more frequent server maintenance (aka downtime) to compress db, post-processing or what not. My 2 cents.

Still can't upload due to server out of disk space.

Yes, I see this problem with validation process ....

My work units seem to be around 7 minutes as well. Is there any way to pack multiple work units together so that the run time is longer? Not sure if it would reduce any files in the process but the amount of data being transferred is a bit crazy for what little running time they have. My home internet has a data limit and this project would easily chew through it in no time.
