You probably have already done this but no harm in confirming if you already did read the updated app_config.xml file via the Options → Read config file in the Boinc Manager menu?

The app name is what is shown in my client_state.xml file. See below for mine. Seems to be correct app names to me.

Still not showing the option to select the sub-projects. The error message is still there as shown at the top of this preferences menu.

Not sure if you need to restart the server or re-read the updated file(s). P.S. I've no experience is setting up boinc server project. Best to ask the expert in the boinc discord.

Doesn't seem to work when I go to the project preference setting menu. I see error message pertaining to your project file selection setup in "project_specfic_prefs.inc" See below

This is what I used to currently control how many gaia_4 and gaia_6 tasks that I want to run since there are the only two apps currently available. Edit as needed when new apps appear. It works fine on my PC.

Better to just delete those tasks that have not been sent out yet or returned for recycling when the tasks errored out. Those already sent to the crunchers, please leave the tasks alone and let the crunchers complete or abort them (their choice).. Don't want a similar incident that happened with gpugrid recently. Just a good practice in my opinion.

As long as there are successful tasks been completed and validated, best not to cancel tasks already on active hosts. As of this writing, free-dc latest stat update still show credits been granted, so people are still returning validated result albeit getting less than before.

Each task is at least 6MB in file size during uploading. If I finish 1000 tasks a day, that's 6GB of data been uploaded. Since the run time for each task is relatively short, let's assume say 5 mins. On a 16C/32T system running 100%, that will mean in a day, about 9,216 tasks are completed. This is equivalent to about 55GB of data been transferred. Assuming that 55GB of data stays in the hard drive for sometime, (maybe less after db assimilation, don't know), you really need a lot of disk space.

Looking at the server status just before the disk space issue started, I'm seeing about 700 tasks in progress, meaning about 700 threads running at any one time. This is roughly equivalent to about 1.2 TB of data been uploaded per day.

I think this project needs a lot of more server disk space or more frequent server maintenance (aka downtime) to compress db, post-processing or what not. My 2 cents.
